KYIV, July 1 – Ukraine in 2021/2022 marketing year (MY, July-June) exported 48.51 million tons of grains and legumes, which is 8.4% higher than in the previous MY, despite Russia's full-scale invasion and difficulties with the export of agricultural products because of the blockade of Ukrainian seaports.
In 2021/2022 MY, an increase in the export of these crops was recorded to 48.51 million tons from 44.72 million tons in 2020/2021 MY, which was caused by a record harvest in the current marketing year and the high intensity of its export before the Russian invasion, follows from preliminary data on the website Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
