Journal Staff Report

KYIV, June 21 - Ukraine's economy is likely to shrink by at least a third in 2022, Serhiy Nikolaychuk, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, said while presenting report on financial stability.

As a result of the war, as we expect, GDP will decrease by at least a third. We expect inflation to accelerate, it will exceed the level of 20%," he said during a briefing on Tuesday.

At the same time, the deputy head of the central bank noted that these processes will remain under control.
