KYIV, Jan 14 – The exchange rate on the interbank FX market will cross the mark of UAH 28/$1 in the coming days due to pressure provoked by the geopolitical situation, Director of the Treasury Department at Unex Bank Hanna Zolotko has said.

"Over the past few days, the hryvnia has been under psychological pressure provoked by the negative news background around the geopolitical situation in the center of which Ukraine has found itself. It looks like the exchange rate will still cross the mark of UAH 28/$1 in the coming days. Taking into account the holiday in the United States on Monday, it is more likely that this will happen on Tuesday," she told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.
