KYIV, Jan 14 – Azerbaijan and Ukraine have plans for cooperation in the energy sector, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has said and expressed confidence that they would be implemented.

"The traditional area of our cooperation is the energy sector. We have plans for this area, and I am sure that they will be implemented. Socar, the state-owned company of Azerbaijan, is serious about this cooperation and now has a large chain of filling stations throughout Ukraine," Aliyev said at a joint press conference with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv on Friday.
