KYIV, June 16 – Chair of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz Ukrayiny Clare Spottiswoode has initiated the removal of CEO Yuriy Vitrenko from office in line with an order of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP).
Spottiswoode said in a statement, the text of which is at the disposal of Interfax-Ukraine that she convened an extraordinary meeting of the supervisory board to discuss the removal of the chief executive officer from office. In order to ensure compliance with high standards of good corporate governance, she believes that such removal is in the interests of Naftogaz Ukrayiny.
