KYIV, June 14 – President Volodymyr Zelensky considers that the imposition of the same demands on Ukraine by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as for other states is unfair, since there is a war in Donbas in Ukraine.
"I believe it is impossible to compare the strategy of the IMF's behavior with Ukraine with other countries. Our country simply cannot be put on a par with others. Since we have complexity, because there is a war going on. Since money is not spent on priorities from the economic point of view, but from a security point of view. First the military, first medicine, then everything else," the president said in a joint interview with Agence France-Presse, Reuters and the Associated Press, according to the President's Office.
