KYIV, April 5 – Operations with natural gas, which is stored in underground gas storage (UGS) facilities in the "customs warehouse" mode, have been locked since the beginning of the month due to inconsistencies in the legislation, the press service of JSC Ukrtransgaz has reported.

According to the press service, from April 1, 2021, the Energy Customs began declaring the gas stored in the "customs warehouse" mode in energy units in accordance with the law on customs tariff dated June 4, 2020. This law requires additional metering in kWh.
