KYIV, Feb 26 – The Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) has applied to the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission of Ukraine (NEURC) with a request not to increase the tariff for electricity transmission by the networks of Ukrenergo by 7.5% from April 1 of this year, leaving it at the current level of UAH 293.93 per MWh.
As reported in a letter of the Federation to the NEURC, a copy of which is available to Interfax-Ukraine, the increase in the Ukrenergo tariff from the current level of UAH 293.93 per MWh to UAH 316.08 per MWh will affect domestic enterprises, which are already are in crisis due to COVID-19.
