KYIV, Feb 25 – Moldovan ethanol producer Zernoff has suspended the acquisition of the Marylivsky distillery located in Ternopil region of Ukraine and filed a lawsuit against the State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine.

According to the Moldovan company, the purchased facility does not meet the characteristics stated by the SPF in the auction documentation.

"The reason for the claim was a significant difference in the actual amount of property declared in the electronic lot. During the inspection of the purchased lot, it was found that there were no boilers, fans, moisture meters, other equipment, as well as inconsistency with the description of some real estate objects," the company said in a statement.
