Journal Staff Report

KYIV, Nov 16 - Ambassadors of more than 10 representing countries in Ukraine, whose businesses have invested more than EUR 2 billion in the Ukrainian renewable energy sector, called on Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal to ensure full repayment of debts to them at a feed-in tariff, in particular through direct payments from the budget and issue of government domestic loan bonds.

"We look to you to ensure that Ukraine meets its commitments to restore favorable and sustainable conditions for renewable investors. This will serve to build investors' trust in Ukraine," according to the letter to Shmyhal, which is available to the Interfax-Ukraine agency, its copy sent to Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Finance Sergei Marchenko and head of the Ministry of Energy Olha Buslavets.
