KYIV, Sept 18 – It is not feasible to hold 'green' auctions until non-payment crisis within renewable energy sources (RES) industry is resolved, says DTEK Renewables CEO Maris Kunickis.

"We support 'green' auctions and the need to develop legislation that clearly and correctly enables us to participate in interesting projects here in Ukraine. However, we have to count on where the money will come from in order to pay for this initiative. And until we solve the first issue of paying for the existing green energy, it's too early to talk about holding auctions," Kunickis said during the 11th Energy Day organized by the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency.
