KYIV, June 26 – The increasing number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases was caused by the easing of lockdown restrictions from May 12, researchers at the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) said.

"The growth was caused by the lockdown easing from May 12. We observe that growth has occurred in the range of lockdown period from May 12," senior researcher at KSE Yuriy Hanychenko said during the presentation of updated data on the epidemiological model of KSE.
