KYIV, May 18 – The Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection during negotiations with investors in renewable energy sources (RES) intends to reach agreements on the restructuring of the feed-in tariff without extension of the payout time, acting Energy and Environmental Protection Minister of Ukraine Olha Buslavets told Interfax-Ukraine.
She said that all currently restructuring options, which are under consideration, include the following measures: reducing the feed-in tariff, introducing full financial responsibility for imbalances, stopping the construction of new facilities under the existing system to support the development of green generation, granting the system operator the right to restrict the generation of green electricity for a certain number of hours free of charge.
