KYIV, May 18 – The Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection plans to help renewable electricity producers to improve the quality of forecasting power generation.

Renewable power sources, NEC Ukrenergo, and state-owned enterprise Guaranteed Buyer electricity producers will agree on a plan to improve technical forecasting of weather conditions and electricity generation, while the Energy Ministry will study the possibility of financing this project by international financial institutions, the ministry said in the draft memorandum on settlement of problematic issues in the renewable energy sector.
