KYIV, May 18 – About 45% of the representatives of Ukrainian and international businesses of various segments surveyed plan to suspend business expansion in 2020, some 37% of retailers intend to streamline assets by reducing the number of outlets, according to the survey of Colliers International (Ukraine).
"Given the uncertainty of further development scenarios, retailers will mostly focus on optimizing the existing business and will not intend to open new stores. Only 15% of respondents said they plan to continue expanding their business. These are mainly representatives of beauty & drogerie segment, household appliances and electronics," Colliers International said.
