KYIV, May 14 – Ukraine will scrutinize the process of issuing permits for building massive number of renewable power projects that had led to power grid and energy crisis, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
Ukraine approved legislation in 2011 to set high prices for power generated by renewable sources, such as solar, wind or biofuel, and that had sparked significant interest from foreign investors seeking to capitalize on what appears to be the most expensive power in Europe.
