KYIV, March 24 – The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine has urged the Verkhovna Rada to greenlight the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and supports the measures taken to date by the Ukrainian government to safeguard Ukrainian people as much as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Chamber said on its website on Tuesday.
"We are hearing positive signals about the deal with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Ukraine’s Parliament must take bold, decisive, and rapid action this week to vote on necessary legislation to conclude the deal with the IMF that will enable disbursements to start in the near term," the Chamber said.
