KYIV, March 19 – Consumption of power in the energy system of Ukraine since the introduction of quarantine measures has decreased by 5%, according to the website of Ukrenergo transmission system operator.
Thus, according to the company, electricity consumption before quarantine on the working day of March 11 was 412 million kWh with a maximum power consumption of 19,200 MW and an average temperature of 8.1 degrees above zero. This indicator was gradually decreasing daily. On March 19, electricity consumption is projected at 390 million kWh with a maximum power consumption of 18,600 MW and an average temperature of 7.9 degrees above zero.
