KYIV, March 19 – The Ukrainian Health Ministry said it might engage private clinics to hospitalize patients with coronavirus as part of a COVID-19 medical care plan, Deputy Health Minister and Chief Public Health Official Viktor Liashko said.
"We started preparing the healthcare system just when we saw the spread of the virus in China. A national response plan was developed and endorsed by a government decision. A national taskforce has been set up, we've known how we would respond, a pool of hospitals in each region has been determined, and four scenarios of opposing the disease spread in Ukraine have been drawn up," Liashko said at a news briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
