KYIV, March 17 – Parliament has passed bill No. 3220 with amendments to the Tax Code on support of taxpayers during the period of taking measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus disease COVID-19, which equals quarantine with force majeure.

The law prohibits the use of fines for violations of tax legislation from March 1 through April 30, 2020, establishes a moratorium on documentary and factual checks from March 18 through May 18, 2020, and also extends the deadlinefor submitting an annual declaration of property status and income until July 1 of this year.
