KYIV, Jan 11 – ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (Dnipropetrovsk region) considers it necessary to review into the decision on steel imports from Belarus and Moldova to Ukraine taken by the Interagency Commission on International Trade following the results of the respective investigation, and to impose restrictions on steel imports from Belarus in the view of obvious evidence of dumping.
As the company reported in its press release, the outcome of the review officially published on the sixth of December 2019, there were found definitive evidence that anti-dumping practices had taken place, trade rules and regulations had been infringed and, as a result, damage to Ukrainian long steel producers, including ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, had occurred.
