KYIV, Dec 26 – Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk on Thursday defended the stronger hryvnia, suggesting the trend is caused by growing economy and rising foreign investments in the country.

The comment comes in response to concerns among analysts that the strengthening hryvnia is hurting the country’s exporters and is de-facto reducing budget revenue this year.
