KYIV, Nov 26 – President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has signed the law on amending certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the confiscation of illegal assets of persons authorized to perform the functions of the state or local governance, and punishment for the acquisition of such assets (No. 263-IX), the presidential press service reports.

"The task of the law is to restore criminal liability for illegal enrichment, as well as introduce the institution of recovery in favor of the state of unreasonable assets of persons authorized to perform the functions of the state or local governance," the statement said.
