Most Ukrainians believe farmland reform must be approved by people
Journal Staff Report

KYIV, Nov 12 - The majority of Ukrainians (69%) think that the issue of farmland sale in Ukraine should be put to a nationwide referendum, and if such referendum was held, more than a half of Ukrainians would vote against land sale, according to a poll conducted by Research & Branding Group on October 25 through November 5, 2019.

If the referendum was held in the near future, 27% of Ukrainians would support sale of farmland and 54% would oppose it, according to the results of the poll. Every fifth (19%) respondent would ignore the voting.
