KYIV, Oct 7 – State-owned enterprise National Nuclear Generating Company Energoatom counts to receive a license for extending operation of reactor three of South-Ukrainian nuclear power plant (NPP) before the expiration of its design life in February 2020.
"There are a number of unresolved issues, but there is reason to believe that scheduled preventive repairs to extend the service life, will be completed on time, and we will get a license to extend the life under the first option, that is, before the end of the design period," Energoatom President Yuriy Nedashkovsky said.
