KYIV, Sept 10 – Some 50.4% of Ukrainians believe that people who own land must have the right to sell it, according to the results of a survey conducted by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the sociological service of the Kyiv-based Razumkov Center.
When asked if a person who owns land should have the right to sell it, 50.4% of respondents said they should, 28.1% didn't, and 21.5% found it difficult to answer. Among those who own land, 55.6% are in favor of the opportunity to sell it, compared to 45.6% of respondents who do not have land.
