KYIV, Aug 9 – The draft law on tax amnesty, which is under discussion now, envisages 9% of a reference rate and 5% of a preferential rate if the taxpayer voluntary discloses information, Head of Tax Service of Ukraine Serhiy Verlanov said.
"First of all, tax amnesty talks with IMF [International Monetary Fund] are being held about the rate. The situation in Ukraine is not a unique one: countries of South Africa, Latvia and other states also went through this. Now we're discussing discounted rates: 9% as a reference rate and 5% as a discounted rate," he said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
