KYIV, June 21 – First Deputy Prime Minister and Economic Development and Trade Minister Stepan Kubiv has said that it is necessary to transform the Economic Development and Trade Ministry into the Ministry of Digital Economy.

"The Economic Development and Trade Ministry should be given more authority in the development of the digital economy. For three years now, our ministry has been actively developing the digital agenda for Ukraine, but it should finally reduce the unusual functions of other authorities in the field of digitalization," he said in parliament on Friday.
