KYIV, May 17 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide a EUR 19.7 million loan to Scatec Solar to implement a project to build a solar power plant in Cherkasy region, according to a posting on the website of the EBRD.

The installed capacity of the plant will be 55.4 MW. The total cost of the project is EUR 56.2 million.

Greenteco SES LLC, belonged to Scatec Solar, will be recipient of the funds.

The project is developed under EBRD's Ukrainian Sustainable Energy Lending Facility III (USELF-III), a EUR 250 million Facility to support renewable energy in Ukraine.
