KYIV, May 16 – The launch of 5G mobile communications in Ukraine is possible from 2020, Oleksandr Zhyvotovsky, the head of the National Commission for Communications Regulation (NCCR), has said.

"5G is possible from next year. We are analyzing the frequencies that can be used for 5G. Some are already obvious: it is 700 MHz and 3,400 MHz. Details regarding the other necessary frequencies - and this is above 20 GHz - will be determined this fall at WRC 2019," he said on Facebook.
