KYIV, May 14 – Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland has invited President-elect of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to Toronto to attend the International Conference on Reforms, Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Waschuk told the European Pravda.
"We know that the newly elected president wants to participate, but everything will depend on Ukraine's political calendar. Inauguration is ahead. What will happen next, after it, is to be decided by Ukrainians themselves," the ambassador said in an interview with the ezine, answering the question whether Freeland invited Zelensky to the conference.
