KYIV, April 8 – The implementation of the aviation transport strategy of Ukraine would allow boosting passenger flow to 80 million passengers a year in 2030, the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine said.
"The officials reviewed the fundamentals of Ukraine's aviation transport strategy for the period until 2030 and the Strategy for the Development of Sea Ports of Ukraine for the period until 2038. The implementation of these documents will ensure not only the development of ports, but also provide for new jobs, upgraded cargo handling technologies and passenger traffic growth. Thus, according to the forecast of the Infrastructure Ministry, the implementation of, for example, the Aviation Strategy will allow an increase in passenger traffic to 80 million passengers a year as early as 2030," the press service of the Ukrainian government said after the meeting of the Strategic Committee of the Ukrainian government.
