KYIV, April 5 – Coal stocks at thermal power plants (TPPs) of generating companies as of April 5, 2019 totaled 1.555 million tons, which is 16.4% more than a year ago, on April 2, 2018, according to information from the Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.

According to calculations by Interfax-Ukraine, the coal stocks of the anthracite group at TPPs warehouses were 405,800 tons, which is 11.3% more than a year earlier. The coal stocks of the gas group to date totaled 1.149 million tons and were 18.4% higher than in 2018.
