KYIV, March 18 – The number of payments by smartphones with MasterCard in Ukraine could increase by 90 times in 2019-2020, as it was in 2018, Yuriy Bakhtin, MasterCard Business Development Director in Ukraine, has said.

"The number of operations using smartphones in 2018 increased by 90 times ... My forecast for the next two years is that the trends in the development of NFC payments will be approximately the same as we observed in 2018," he said during a round table in Kyiv.
