KYIV, March 18 – Batkivschyna Party leader and presidential candidate Yulia Tymoshenko has named five priority steps to improve the economy and increase the social protection of people that the future president could carry out, the party's press service reported.

"The first step: we completely accept the new tax code and 47% of the economy, which is in the shadow, withdraw from it, while reducing by half the tax burden for entrepreneurs. Second: we close all transactions with offshore companies. The third step: we improve the economy - transit from a raw materials economy to the production of finished products, and on an innovative basis," Tymoshenko said during an interview with the Ukraine TV channel.
