KYIV, Feb 14 - A bill has been submitted to the U.S. Congress providing for an increase of $25 million in the 2019 budget for assistance to Ukraine through the programs of the Department of State, the Ukrainian Embassy to the United States has reported.
"The U.S. Congress presented the draft "Department of State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Appropriations Bill, 2019," which was agreed upon by the Senate and the House of Representatives. Estimated assistance to Ukraine through the United States Foreign Office, the United States Agency for International Development and the relevant departments was determined in the amount of $445.7 million, which is $25 million more than the corresponding allocations of 2018," the Ukrainian Embassy said on Facebook on Thursday.
