KYIV, Feb 11 – The annual inflation rate in January 2019 came close to the projected trajectory, according to the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

The NBU says that inflation in January 2019 from January 2018 slowed to 9.2% against 9.8% in December 2018 from December 2017. The Central Bank does not specify the monthly trajectory in 2019, while its quarterly forecast suggests a slowdown in annual inflation to 8.4% by the end of the first quarter (Q1), further to 8.4% in Q2, 7.7% in Q3 and 6.3% in Q4.
