KYIV, Feb 5 – DTEK Energy in 2018 invested UAH 8.4 billion in development of the Ukraine coal production sector and the transfer of units of thermal power plants (TPPs) to consume Ukrainian-extracted coal.
The press service of the company reported that UAH 4.8 billion was sent to development of coalmining enterprises, and this allowed launching 36 new long faces and boosting G-grade coal production to 24.132 million tonnes in a year (a rise of 5.3% on 2017). The company also implemented some projects at coalmines to improve labor conditions, increase efficiency and industrial safety.
