KYIV, Jan 18 – Ukrainian coking plants imported 11.98 million tons of coking coal and coal concentrate for coking in 2018, which is 11% more than in 2017, taking into account enterprises located on the government uncontrolled areas and 14% more, not taking into account them.

According to the Ukrmetallurgprom association, in December 2018, 1.03 million tons was imported (100% compared with November 2018).

Ukrainian coal in the amount of 2.69 million was shipped to the plants in 2018, which is 22% less on 2017, taking into account enterprises located on the government uncontrolled areas and 16% less, not taking into account them. In December 270 tons were delivered.
