Journal Staff Report

KYIV, Nov 16 – Ukraine's Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Economy Ministry plans to oblige hotels to design at least 10% of rooms for accommodation of people with disabilities, the press service of Deputy Minister Lev Partskhaladze reported on Thursday.

According to the report, the amendments would be made to national construction standards.

"In the new national construction standards related to access to buildings we plan to foresee the respective requirement, so when hotels are designed at least 10% of rooms are equipped for people with disabilities," Partskhaladze said.
