KYIV, Aug 6 – The sole operating incineration plant in Ukraine – Energia (Kyiv) – is operating in normal mode and it is preparing for annual maintenance repair scheduled for the period from August 15 through September 15 inclusively, the information provision and public information access department of the Kyiv City Administration has reported.

"The equipment is worn out, so it needs to be regularly checked, repaired and updated. Ahead of the heating season and we must be sure that we have all the equipment ready for the winter," Director of the Energia plant Serhiy Krykun said.
