KYIV, July 17 - Naftogaz Ukrayiny considers two disputes with Russia's Gazprom, the decisions on which were made by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, to be settled.
"Putin says that Russia is ready to preserve transit of gas in case the dispute between the business entities is settled in the Stockholm arbitration. First of all, two disputes (under the contracts for gas supply and gas transit) between Gazprom and Naftogaz have already been settled in arbitration. The problem is that Gazprom is not executing the arbitration decisions - it does not deliver gas to Ukraine at the prices defined by the arbitrage and does not pay us $2.6 billion in compensation, which was determined by the arbitration," Yuriy Vitrenko, the chief commercial director of Naftogaz, said on Facebook.
