KYIV, July 11 - Leading Ukrainian-based business associations call on the Ukrainian government, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and international partners of Ukraine to make every effort to reach an agreement by July 20 to unlock an IMF disbursement worth $1.9 billion.
"We urge the IMF and international partners of Ukraine to take into account the general economic situation, reforms and broad social consequences in Ukraine and find efficient solutions, taking into account today's circumstances," says the announcement of a joint press conference of the American Chamber of Commerce, the European Business Association, the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs and the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine.
