KYIV, May 22 - Electricity production in the united power grid of Ukraine in January-April 2018 increased by 2.3% (by 1.285 billion kWh) compared to January-April 2017, to 56.535 billion kWh, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reported.
Nuclear power plants (NPP) in January-April decreased electricity generation by 12.4%, to 27.543 billion kWh. In particular, electricity production at Zaporizhia NPP amounted to 13.031 million kWh (5.8% less from January-April 2017), Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP some 5.87 billion kWh (4.7% less), Rivne NPP some 4.543 billion kWh (21.2% less), and Khmelnytsky NPP some 4.099 billion kWh (28% less).
