KYIV, April 17 - Russia's Gazprom has enough assets abroad that can be confiscated as debt in keeping with a ruling by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko said.
"We've already seized what Gazprom had in Ukraine, and we are still looking for what its debtors had in Ukrainian territory. This is also a legal process, and we will do it. Gazprom has got a lot of assets in foreign jurisdictions, in Europe. Including those assets that are easily converted into funds such as gas in storage facilities, securities, and funds in bank accounts," he said on ICTV on Monday evening.
