KYIV, April 12 – Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze expects Ukraine to receive the first tranche of macro-financial assistance from the European Union in early autumn this year.
"As far as I understand, the discussion in the European Parliament on this issue should be completed in June. After that, I think, the EU Council will support this decision finally, and we can then expect the decision to be made in the middle of summer. I hope this means that at the beginning of autumn we will receive this first tranche of macro-financial assistance," she said in a comment to Interfax-Ukraine on the sidelines of the 11th Kyiv Security Forum.
