KYIV, March 20 - The consumer confidence of Ukrainians worsened in February 2018: The Consumer Confidence Index (CCI) equals 55.4, which is 4.2 points lower than the indicator in January 2018 and 0.8 lower than in February 2017. Almost all components of the index worsened, according to a study published by GfK Ukraine.
"In February 2018, the Consumer Confidence Index decreased to the level of March 2017, therefore, losing the altitude that it had gained for the period from May to November 2017. The main factor of the fall was the decrease in the Index of Expectations of the Country's Economic Development in the Country Over the Next 5 Years. The positive news of February 2018 was the deterioration of devaluation expectations comparing with January 2018," GfK Ukraine analysts said.
