KYIV, Feb 21 – The National Bank of Ukraine will seek to extend sanctions against five Ukrainian banks that have Russian government capital, Vitaliy Vavryschuk, director of the financial stability department at NBU, said Wednesday.

The sanctions, imposed on Sberbank, VS Bank, Prominvestbank, VTB Bank, BM Bank, prohibit capital transfers to their affiliates outside Ukraine.
