KYIV, Feb 6 - The government approved UAH 6 billion project to upgrade a key rail trading station that increases Ukraine’s exports capacity via Mykolayiv, Ukrzaliznytsia reported on Monday.
The Dolynska-Mykolaiv railway section is aimed at increasing capacity of the Znamianka-Dolynska-Mykolaiv route, and the upgrade will take 33 months.
"This is a large-scale project that will be implemented through 2021,” Ukrzaliznytsia CEO Yevhen Kravtsov said. “It is planned to co-finance the project for the EIB and EBRD loans.”
