SIMFEROPOL, Jan 16 - A court in Amsterdam may hear the appeal filed by four Crimean museums against the decision to return the 'Scythian gold' to Ukraine in spring 2018, East Crimea Historical and Cultural Open-Air Museum general director Tatyana Umrikhina told reporters in Simferopol on Tuesday.
"The date [of this hearing] has not been clarified. Presumably, it may take place in March or April," Umrikhina said.
Russia has set up an expert board to return the collection to Crimea, and "the Justice Ministry is supervising the work," she said. The museums have hired additional lawyers. "Three more lawyers have joined the one we had earlier," Umrikhina said.
